Terms and Conditions

 

1.  HOLIDAY T&C’S

1.1 First night is payable at the time of booking.
1.2 Total stay cost to be paid 14 days prior to arrival, charged automatically to the Credit Card on the Booking Reservation.
1.3 Name on the reservation must be the same individual checking-in for the stay.
1.4 ARRIVALS LATER THEN 5:00PM PLEASE CALL THE LOCATION CAMPSITE to arrange prior to arrival.
1.5 Peak Period Bookings:
• Christmas 24 December - 3 January 3 night minimum on all sites.
• Easter: 3 night minimum on all sites.
• Long Weekends: 3 night minimum on all sites.
1.6 Reservations for Non-Peak Periods can be amended or postponed up until 3.00pm 72 hours prior to check-in.
1.7 Reservations for Non-Peak Periods can be amended or postponed only once. If second booking cannot be kept the Full Payment will be lost. Any deferred dates must be within 12 months of the original booking date.
1.8 Peak Period Bookings cannot be amended, postponed, transferred or cancelled.
1.9 If you do not arrive on your reservation date your booking will be cancelled without refund or credit.
1.10 No refunds on early departures.
1.11 We reserve the right to refuse a booking or to ask guests to leave the park at any time, at the discretion of Wild Goose Camping.
1.12 The Location/Campground/Venue Owner or Management reserve the right to refuse a booking or to ask guests to leave the property at any time, at the discretion of the Location/Campground/Venue Owner.
1.13 Please no smoking, no parties, no loud noise after 10pm.
1.14 Pets/Animals are not permitted inside or within 5-meter proximity of tents.

2. PRIVATE EVENT/WEDDING T&C’S

2.1 A Holding Fee/Bond is required $100 per tent to hold the tents and dates for your Event/Wedding. This is refundable ONLY after your Private Event/Wedding has taken place.
2.2 This Holding Fee is refunded at the end of your event once the minimum number of tents is met and all tents and equipment are returned in good condition.
2.3 Should the minimum number of tents not be met a fee of $100 per tent will be withheld.
2.4 We only have a two night minimum price. However a one-night stay can be arranged, the price is the same.
2.5 First night tariff for Glamping Tent, Honeymoon Suite or Dressing Tent is payable at the time of booking.
2.6 Total Outstanding Balance for all Booking Reservations must be paid 14 days prior to arrival.
2.7 Name on the reservation must be the same as the credit cardholder's name and same individual must check-in for the stay.
2.8 Event/Wedding organiser’s reservations can be amended or postponed up until 2.00pm 21 days prior to check-in.
2.9 Event/Wedding organiser’s reservations can be amended or postponed up to two times. If second or third booking cannot be kept the Holding Fee will not be refunded. Any deferred dates must be within 24 months of the original booking date, and prices are subject to change.
2.10 Travel Fee payments are only accepted 14 days prior to your event/wedding.
2.11 Tents can only be set up on reasonably flat and (ideally) grassed areas. Tents can only be set up on reasonably flat and (ideally) grassed areas. If the ground is significantly compacted and requires a drilling assistance for the pegs, this will incur an additional charge $25 per tent to cover time, labour and peg damage. This will be deducted from the Holding Fee.
2.12 Tents must be completely dry in order to pack them down and cannot be packed down until they are so.
2.13 No refunds on early departures.
2.14 We reserve the right to refuse a booking or to ask guests to leave the Glamping Village at any time, at the discretion of Wild Goose Camping.
2.15The Location/Campground/Venue Owner or Management reserve the right to refuse a booking or to ask guests to leave the property at any time, at the discretion of the Location/Campground/Venue Owner.
2.16 Please no smoking.

3. BUSINESS EVENT/RETREAT T&C’S

4. ADDITIONAL CHARGES

4.1 Management reserves the right to charge guests for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning and unpaid expenses. Any additional charges will automatically be charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking following at least one attempt to contact the credit card holder.
4.2 We have a strictly NON-SMOKING POLICY. Any traces of residual smoke inside will incur an additional cleaning charge of $200.

5. PRIVACY POLICY

Wild Goose Camping is subject to the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
We will generally collect personal information about you directly from you when you deal with us over the telephone or by e-mail. Normally, the type of personal information collected by us will include your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
We may use your personal information for some or all of the following purposes:
• To provide marketing information to you about our products and services
• To monitor the standard and quality of service we provide to your or other guests.
If you do not wish to receive these communications from us, you may unsubscribe.

6. FORCE MAJEURE

Wild Goose Camping will not be in breach of this agreement, or any way liable to any party, if it is prevented from complying with this agreement by reason act of public enemy, act of terrorism, war, earthquake, riot, explosion, fire, flood, pandemic, compliance with any law or government restraint order, rule regulations, strike, lockout or any other cause not reasonably within the control of Wild Goose Camping.

 

Payment Policy

HOLIDAYS:

7.1 First night is payable at the time of booking with valid Credit Card.
7.2 Total Outstanding Balance to be settled 14 days prior to arrival. This will be charged to the Credit Card on the Booking Reservation. An email will be sent 16 days prior to check-in with this information. Please be in touch if you need to make other arrangements for payment. Thank you.

PRIVATE AND BUSINESS EVENT/WEDDING/RETREAT:

7.3 Holding Fee to be paid confirming minimum number of tents required, via issued Invoice.
7.4 Total Outstanding Balance for all Booking Reservations must be paid 14 days prior to arrival, via issued Invoice.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

8. HOLIDAY CANCELLATION POLICY

8.1 Cancellations must be made in writing by email info@wildgoosecamping.com.au
8.2 Guests can receive a full refund minus $30 processing fee if they cancel within 24 hours of booking and must be made in writing by email.
8.3 Non-Peak Period Bookings:
- Cancellations made 21 days or more prior to the arrival date will be eligible for a full refund less a $30 administration fee.
- Cancellations made between 21-7 days of the arrival date will be charged in full for the first night of the booking.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date will not be eligible for a refund.
8.4 Should you wish to cancel your booking you must notify us at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival. Cancellations must be made in writing by email info@wildgoosecamping.com.au
8.5 Peak Period Bookings cannot be amended, postponed, transferred or cancelled.
8.6 If you do not arrive on your reservation date your booking will be cancelled without refund or credit.
8.7 We encourage our customers to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
8.8 In any such time of catastrophic circumstances, for example bush fires, storms, extreme acts of nature, the customer will be issued a Credit Note only.

9. WEDDING/EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

9.1 Cancellations must be made in writing by email to info@wildgoosecamping.com.au
9.2 Travel Fees paid are refundable.
9.3 The Holding Fee is non-refundable.
9.4 Should an Event or Wedding be cancelled, Guests are issued a Transferrable Credit to be used on a future booking.
9.5 Transferrable Credits can be used for postponed events, individual holidays or transferred to another user. All Credit change requests must be made in writing by email to info@wildgoosecamping.com.au
9.6 Guest Booking payment is non-refundable, however can receive a full refund minus $30 processing fee if they cancel within 24 hours of booking, if the cancellation occurs at least 2.00pm 14 days before check-in, and must be made in writing by email info@wildgoosecamping.com.au
9.7 If you do not arrive on your reservation date your booking will be cancelled without refund or credit.
9.8 We encourage our customers to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
9.9 In any such time of catastrophic circumstances, for example bush fires, storms, extreme acts of nature, the Hirer will be issued a Credit Note for the remaining duration of stay only. Credit Note T&C’s apply.

10. BUSINESS RETREAT/EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

10.1 Cancellations must be made in writing by email to info@wildgoosecamping.com.au
10.2 Travel Fees paid are refundable.
10.3 Cancellations need to be made before 2.00pm 14 days prior to check-in, to receive full Holding Fee refund.
10.4 If you do not arrive on your reservation date your booking will be cancelled without refund or credit.
10.5 We encourage our Business Clients to purchase insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
10.6 In any such time of catastrophic circumstances, for example bush fires, storms, extreme acts of nature, the Hirer will be issued a Credit Note for the remaining duration of stay only. Credit Note T&C’s apply.

11. COVID CANCELLATION POLICY

11.1 In the event of a pandemic or period of restrictions or lockdown issued by state or federal government, the Customer will be issued a Credit Note only. Credit Note T&C’s apply.
11.2 If COVID border or region restrictions come into place within 14 days of your check in date, preventing you from attending your booking, you will be eligible for a full credit providing you contact us within 48 hours of border closures being announced.
11.3 If you need to cancel as a result of displaying COVID symptoms, you will be eligible for a Credit Note to be used on a future booking. Credit Note T&C’s apply.
11.4 Event/Wedding/Retreat Organiser’s Reservations can be amended or postponed up to two times. If final booking cannot be kept, the Full Payment will be lost. Any deferred dates must be within 24 months of the original booking date, and prices are subject to change.

 

The proprietors reserve the right to alter these conditions without prior written notice.
